Welcome to LowLightVibes Studio
This guide walks you through everything you need to make the studio work. Each step is written out exactly β no steps are skipped, and nothing is assumed.
If something looks different on your screen than what this guide describes, stop and re-read the step from the beginning. You have not broken anything. The studio is designed to be safe β nothing is deleted or changed until you click a button that says so.
You can come back to this guide at any time by clicking the π Guide tab at the top of the page.
1 Logging In
You only need to do this once per device. The studio remembers you until you sign out.
- Go to the LowLightVibes Studio address in your browser. You will see a login page with two fields: Email and Password.
- Type your email address into the first field. Type your password into the second field. Then click the Sign In button.
- If the login works, the page will change to show the Studio. You will see a gold header bar at the top with the words π LowLightVibes Studio.
- If you see a red error message, double-check your email and password. Passwords are case-sensitive β capital and lowercase letters are treated as different characters.
2 How the Studio Is Organised
The studio has four tabs. Each tab is a different part of the system.
- Just below the title bar you will see four buttons in a row: π Midnight Forge, πΊ Channels, π¬ Comments, and π Guide. These are the tabs.
- The tab you are looking at right now is Guide. It is highlighted in gold to show it is active.
- Click π Midnight Forge when you want to create a new audio episode. This is where most of your work happens.
- Click πΊ Channels if you need to create a new audio channel or see a list of existing ones.
- Click π¬ Comments to see comments left by listeners on your YouTube videos. The system drafts replies automatically β you just approve or skip them.
3 Creating an Episode (Midnight Forge)
This is how you generate a complete audio episode. The system will write the script, record the voice, add background sound, and produce a finished file β automatically.
Step 1 β Choose a Channel
- Click the π Midnight Forge tab. You will see a row of buttons near the top. These are your channels β for example: Night Drift Velvet Mischief Dreamscapes.
- Click the channel you want to generate an episode for. The button will turn gold to show it is selected.
- Some channels will show an Episode Builder section. This gives you a list of pre-planned episodes you can click to fill in the form automatically. This is optional β you can ignore it and type your own topic.
Step 2 β Fill in the Generate Episode Form
- Topic / Episode β type what you want the episode to be about. Example: "What it feels like to finally sleep". You can leave this blank and the system will choose a topic from the channel's list.
- Target Length β choose how long you want the episode to be. The options are in minutes. If you are unsure, leave it at the default.
- Session ID β this is a reference number you can use to track this episode. You can leave it blank. The system will fill it in automatically. You only need to type something here if you are tracking episodes yourself with your own numbering system.
- Quality Breaks β this is a checkbox. When it is on, the system will pause after writing the script and let you read it before the voice recording begins. This is recommended if you want to check the content. If you want the episode to run completely automatically without any pauses, turn it off.
Step 3 β Generate the Episode
- When you are ready, click the large Generate Episode button. It will turn grey for a moment β this is normal. The system is starting.
- A progress bar will appear showing the stages the episode is moving through. Here is what each stage means:
- Script β the AI is writing the episode content. This usually takes 30β60 seconds.
- Voice β the script is being recorded using the channel's AI voice. This takes 1β3 minutes depending on length.
- Ambient β background sound is being added (rain, fire, nature, etc. β whatever fits the channel).
- Mix β the voice and background are being combined into one audio file.
- Video β a video file is being created with a visual background, ready for YouTube.
- Package β the system is writing the blog post, social media captions, YouTube description, and SEO content.
- Done β everything is finished. The episode appears in your Recent Jobs list with a gold "Completed" badge.
4 Velvet Mischief β Script Writer
The Velvet Mischief channel has its own special section for writing scripts. This section only appears when the Velvet Mischief channel is selected.
- Click π Midnight Forge, then click the Velvet Mischief channel pill. A new section called Velvet Mischief β Episode Script Writer will appear.
- Use the Episode dropdown to choose which episode you want to work on (for example: Ep 1 β Arrivals).
- Click Write Script with Claude. The AI will write a full script for that episode. This takes about 30β60 seconds. The script will appear in a text box below.
- Read the script. You can edit it by clicking inside the text box and typing β this is exactly like editing a document.
- When you are happy with the script, click Approve & Generate Audio. The voice recording will begin. The ElevenLabs voice service is only charged at this point β not before.
- If you want to use your own script instead of the AI's version, click Paste My Own Script. A text box will appear where you can type or paste your text.
5 Reading the Recent Jobs List
Every episode you generate appears in the Recent Jobs list near the bottom of the Midnight Forge tab.
- Each job shows a coloured badge on the left. Here is what the colours mean:
- PENDING β the job is waiting to start. The system is still processing something ahead of it.
- RUNNING β the episode is being made right now. You will see the progress bar updating.
- SCRIPT REVIEW / AUDIO REVIEW β the system is paused and waiting for your approval. Scroll to that job and click Approve or Reject.
- COMPLETED β the episode is finished. All files and content are ready.
- FAILED β something went wrong. The reason will be shown in small text below the job title. If this happens, you can generate a new episode β your previous attempt did not use up any credits.
6 Managing Comments
The Comments tab shows listener comments from your YouTube videos. The system writes replies for you β you just review and approve them.
- Click the π¬ Comments tab. If there is a red number on the tab, that is how many comments are waiting for your review.
- Click β Fetch New Comments to pull in the latest comments from YouTube. This takes a few seconds.
- Each comment card shows: the listener's name, the video it was left on, the comment text, and a drafted reply from the AI.
- Read the drafted reply. If you are happy with it, click Post Reply. The reply will be posted to YouTube.
- If you do not want to reply to a comment (spam, irrelevant, etc.), click Skip. The comment will move to the Skipped list and will not appear again.
- You can also edit the reply text before posting β click inside the reply text box and change anything you like.
7 The Automatic Scheduler
The scheduler generates new episodes automatically on a schedule β without you having to do anything.
- At the bottom of the π Midnight Forge tab, there is a section called Scheduler Status. This shows whether automatic episode generation is on or off for each channel.
- When the scheduler is active, it will generate a new episode for each active channel on its schedule. You do not need to be logged in for this to happen β it runs in the background on the server.
- If the scheduler generates an episode, it will appear in the Recent Jobs list just like an episode you generated yourself.
- The scheduler will not generate a new episode for a channel if one is already running. It waits until the previous episode is finished.
8 Managing Channels
Channels are the different audio identities in the system (Night Drift, Velvet Mischief, etc.). You can create new ones here.
- Click the πΊ Channels tab.
- To create a new channel, fill in the Channel Name field (what you want to call it), the Niche field (what it is about β for example: "sleep meditation" or "men's storytelling"), and optionally an ElevenLabs Voice ID if you have a specific voice you want to use.
- Click Create Channel. The new channel will appear in the channel list below, and will also become available in the Midnight Forge channel selector.
- Click βΊ Refresh under Your Channels if you do not see the channel you just created.
9 If Something Goes Wrong
Most problems have simple causes. Here are the most common ones.
- The page looks blank or shows an error after login. β Refresh the page by pressing F5 (or Cmd+R on a Mac). If it keeps happening, sign out and sign back in.
- A job is stuck on RUNNING for more than 15 minutes. β This usually means the server restarted. Refresh the page. The job may show as Failed. You can generate a new one β the failed attempt does not affect your files.
- The Generate Episode button is greyed out. β Make sure you have selected a channel (one of the channel pills should be gold). If no channel is selected, the button will not work.
- No channels appear in the Voice/Channel row. β Click the π Midnight Forge tab again to reload it. If channels still do not appear, refresh the page.
- You see a red error message on a job. β Read the error text. If it mentions "API" or "ElevenLabs", there may be a temporary issue with the voice service. Wait a few minutes and try again.
